Energy is life
Our body needs a lot of energy. In addition to the brain, physical activity, the constant renewal of our body cells and homeostasis (regulation of all dynamic body processes) constantly need energy.
This is made available to all body cells by the mitochondria ("power plants") via the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
An optimal function of these cell-internal power plants depends on a whole range of micronutrients, vitamins and other vital substances.
Poor nutrition, lack of exercise, age, metabolic disorders and poisoning can impair the function of the mitochondria, which can lead to a decline in physical and mental performance if you do not take countermeasures.
