Detoxification - a bodily function
Detoxification, also known as "detox", is a term that was previously hardly known from the media. It was only through a bad lifestyle, increasing pollution of the environment and food that people became aware of the need for detoxification of the body.
The metabolism of healthy people has very efficient detoxification functions, because it has always been important for the body to be able to rid itself of toxic substances from the environment or food by facilitating their elimination.
Avoiding toxins and consciously eating healthily are the pillars of detoxification. This includes fresh fruit and vegetables, a varied and high-fiber diet, drinking enough and outdoor sports activities to boost the metabolism.
